FC4-i386 is the precompiled binaries and installer. The SRPMS disc has all the source code for those binaries. Unless you hack on or develop software, you most likely should use the binary i386 disc set (or x86_64 if you're on a 64-bit machine such as an EM64T or AMD64). Hope that helps. --Peter
