Hi
-Are your DNS servers near enough and responding?
-do you have the same problem with other Navigators?
-Are you using a cache server?
I use the DNS servers indicated by my Internet provider, and I do not
know whether the server is a cache one. However, I have inverted the
order of the DNS servers in my configuration. Let us see whether it
helps or not.
You can also try pinging some names
for instance
www.yahoo.com
www.linux.org
and see if the DNS is responding all times
or use the NSLOOKUP tool.
Thanks, Guillermo. The above pings work fine, and I have not noticed
the problem after I inverted the order of the DNS servers.

Sounds like your ISP's DNS servers are getting overloaded.
