rsync > SMBmount (win2k3 server) > 2Gb limit?

Hi,

I have googled for a while and read that this is a limit (where i did not
understand).

I do a nightly backup with rsync to a windows 2k3 (hidden)share. After doing
a check on the backup routine i saw it was stopped when the backup files
where reached over 2Gb. Before the rsync, I do tar system and userfiles.
Like: usr.backup.tar.gz , home.backup.tar.gz etc etc to an big local
backup hdd. Then it mounts the mount to the winbox and rsyncs the *.gz
files.

Is there another way to get rid of that 2Gb limit?

btw the windows share is on NTFS.

Danny.
