Beware of the i865 chip! There have been known bugs in Xorg affecting this chip. I have it and I've been hit hard from installation on. It's fixable, and documented, so if you like one of those motherboards, you can still buy it, but just be aware. Read the bugzilla report on this: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=161242 The fix using FC3's libvgahw.a works. Also, I haven't had problems with the latest X server update (though I did big time with the previous), so it must be fixed, finally. There is a Creative Labs SBLive sound card which is some sort of software modem analog for sound cards, and it is not supported by linux. I forget the exact model.
