Have you contacted Yahoo about the issue? Mention to them that you
have a school network with x number machines and y number students and
you are unable to access their content. Mention to them the name of a
competing service that you are able to watch, and give them the
technical reason that their streams fail (proprietary software).

In other words, fix the problem, not the solution.
