Curious. Ran into this same problem just yesterday, but found your solution in my list archive. It works, of course. Obviously, grub does something in processing the error that makes everything work, so why can't grub just go ahead and do that same something when it starts up? Has this been put into Bugzilla? I looked there first and couldn't find it, but did when going through my saved list mail.Am Do, den 20.10.2005 schrieb Ruben Moretti um 9:38: No HTML postings please.Scene: Motherboard: Asus P5GL-MX with I915GL chipset Memory: 512 MB HDD: SATA Seagate 80Gb. Somebody with I915GL Chipset ?At boot prompt enter some garbage text. The installer will complain to not understand the command given (i.e. enter "garbage" literal). Then continue pressing just enter. Alexander
