I think this is a hotmail problem not a browser problem. I can't check
this since my hotmail account is defunct but it sounds like the
hotmail reply function is not producing valid HTML headers.
But is just a guess. I will send you a gmail account and see if it has
the same problem. In most cases I would prefer gmail anyway.
