Hi; When I try to launch evolution from the gnome-terminal command line by using either the 'evolution', 'evolution &' or 'launchmail' command, I get the following message from the shell "es menu class init". Evolution shows up, but I have to click on something to get it to load mail, tasks, etc. The geometry doesn't seem to be working correctly either. Evolution incorrectly places itself on my screen. Everything launches fine using the panel icon. The icon has the simple 'launchmail' command. This problem *seems* to have started after a D-bus update using yum. A separate but probably connected problem; As well, I was successfully using 'su' to launch Evolution for user1 from a second user account, user2. This worked fine until about the same time as the D-bus update. Now when I launch user1 Evolution from user2, I get the following message in gTerminal (bill=user1, billl=user2): [bill@CASE billl]$ ** (evolution:16607): WARNING **: Owner of /tmp/orbit-billl is not the current user (evolution:16607): GnomeUI-WARNING **: While connecting to session manager: Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed. Occasionally, in both cases, I get an error message telling me a program has quit and I can either, quit, restart or send a bug report. When I choose a bug report starts doing its thing then stops with "This Application has bug information, but Bug Buddy doesn't know about it. Please choose another application." This happens for both Evolution Suite and Evolution Email, the Bug Buddy listed programs. Regards Bill FC4, Evolution 2.2.3
