Subject: Mail Server

I am pretty new to Fedora.

I am trying to setup a dedicated mail server on our
company network.

Is there a HOWTO on how to accomplish this?

Thanks!

This is a great HOW-TO on SMTP AUTH that helps keep
your sendmail nice and
secure--keeps relaying for spammmers from being a
problem.

http://www.simpaticus.com/linux/sendmail-smtp-auth-howto.php

Also, sendmail and dovecot are ready to go 'out of the
box' with the
exception of this one line in sendmail.mc (in
/etc/mail).

DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1,
Name=MTA')dnl
Comment out this line with a "dnl" at the beginning of
the line.

Use 'make -C /etc/mail' to remake your sendmail files,
then restart
sendmail. Just make sure dovecot starts up at boot
and you're ready to go.
