problem with X system I'm using compiled kernel 2.6.12.5 and x windows system 6.8.2. During bootup, I get an error when starting X system. The computer asks if I want to reconfigure X options and if I say yes either I get the display settings window on gnome or I don't get anything. After that the computer says it's going to restart x server and after some waiting I finally get gnome login screen and I don't get any other problems Here's part of the log file Xorg.0.log where it gives the error: Could not init font path element unix/:7100, removing from list! Fatal server error: could not open default font 'fixed' Please consult the The X.Org Foundation support at http://wiki.X.Org for help.
