had the same second drive in an FC3 machine and it mounted it just fine with the command: mount -t ext3 /dev/hdb2 /data now the drive will not mount. when i run the command (the drive is still recognized as hdb) i get the errors: mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdb2, missing codepage or other error In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try dmesg | tail or so when i run dmesg|tail i get: EXT3 FS on hdb1, internal journal EXT3-fs: mounted filesystem with ordered data mode. VFS: Can't find ext3 filesystem on dev hdb2. i know this is an ext3 filesystem though. any thoughts? thanks all. -- \||/ jack wallen, jr 00 www.monkeypantz.net > -
