Linux does not see all USB card readers correctly. Mine is from Radio Shack - it's called a Dazzle Hi Speed USB 2.0 reader. Supports a bunch of card types. FC3 it would crash the anaconda installer but worked flawlessly if attached post install. FC4 it just works, does not crash installer.
