You have to download all (installed) xorg-*-6.8.2-37.FC4.45(NOT 48.1) packages from nearest mirror site and enter into RUNLEVEL 3. And then, $ rpm -Uvh --force xorg-*.rpm And restart X11 server or reboot your system. You could get the list of required packages of your system from: # rpm -qa|grep xorg I hope this mail could reach to you because All my mails sent to the mailing-list were droped without any responsing.(The spam-filtering rules of Fedora list must be too harsh comparing with other mailing lists!)
