Hi list, I am trying to add new iptables modules, and keep my custom kernel as close to FC4 stocked kernel as possible. Googling show 2 types of guides, one suggest copying sample .config from $SOURCE/configs as a base and mod/patch from there. http://users.actcom.co.il/~oron/oron/docs/kernel/fedora3-kernel-build.html Others did'nt even mention about those sample configs. http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=29434&page=1 So is it still necessary to copy them?
