OPTIONS A summary of options is included below. For a complete description, see the README in /usr/share/doc/lxdvdrip. -h, --help Show summary of options. -v, --version Show version of program and list all other helper applications that are installed on your system. You must only give those parameters with another value as defined in ..... ....... +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ More, if you are looking for a DVD authoring tool in the GUI style, have a look to these tools: *DVDStyler *Varsha *Tovid *Lives Maybe some of them are what you are looking for... IIRC... none of them you will find in the FC4 repositories (both official and non-official), excepting dvdstyler that is available in Livna. Depending on what group of repos you have set for yum, you should before proceed accordingly.. because actually most tools you will be using in the backend for that or similar media situations are things such as mencoder, mjpegtools, transcode, ffmpeg, vcdimager, lame, dvdbackup, streamdvd, theora, ogmtools, libdvdread, a52dec, xosd, matroska, divx4linux, mpg321, normalize, xvidcore, mplex, dvdauthor, etc, etc... and sure I forget some of them.. So, IMO first you should install those, and then -if you like- some GUI's and other deps. For example, dvdauthor will make a DVD Video structure, you can get it from Livna as rpm or from its page at sourceforge as a tarball, but you won't find it in the RPMFORGE group. Also, trying to do things by hand (CLI mode) with transcode, mencoder, or some others would not be a bad idea either, despite the enormous amount of options that can be set and can provide you a very fine control over what you want to get as final result, because there are mailing lists specifically intended to provide support for each one of them, and they are very active; so, if the man pages, docs, FAQs, examples and before-asked-questions there.. don't are enough, you can still ask there first, IMHO I think it is a better, proper place, at least it's what I'd do...
