That's more true of RHEL than of FC. Note that RHEL 4 is still running kernel 2.6.9, even though a lot of the newer kernel bugfixes and even some functionality have been back-ported. FC4 has gone from 2.6.9 to 2.6.12, and IIRC 2.6.13 is on its way to updates. Thomas
