Greetings,

I solved my problem. I had just updated KDE desktop. Kmenu>KDE Control
Center version: 3.4.2-1.2.fc3.kde>System Administration>LogIn
Manager>Shutdown had a default of: "/sbin/halt" and " /sbin/shutdown"
as the other option. I just changed it to: "/sbin/shutdown -h now" and
everything is back to normal.

Thanks,

Ron
