Thanks to everyone who helped me with this! I am now no longer confused. :) What I did was log out of all my ssh sessions and go directly to the terminal to try the 'sshd: 127.0.0.1' test. It worked. Also I never knew about the Fedora Extras site. That's really cool and I have DenyHosts 1.0.2 working just fine now. Thanks again! Chris.
