Right click the desktop and create a link to an application, give it
an icon of your choice, give it a name of you choice, choose the
application tab and in the command line browse to the folder where the
script is stored and select it, on the bottom of the tab choose
advanced options and check "Run in terminal" and click ok, then ok
again.

No the terminal window will open and the password prompt will appear.
