[snip] Well, this is an interesting data point: Fedora Core 4 x86_64 on Athlon 64 2.0 GHz (3200+) firefox-1.0.6-1.1.fc4.i386 (so it's 32-bit firefox) render time ~7 or 8 sec For comparison, a 64-bit browser: mozilla-1.7.10-1.5.1.x86_64 render time ~3 to ~5 sec Jonathan
