Well Craig....when I used your script I got: Could not connect: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'server1' (13) So I changed the authenication type from cookie to http and still got error 2003---server not responding. So I went back to the config type and the page started to display..I got the title of the page Welcome to phpMyAdmin 2.6.3-pl1 then an error box saying error 2003 server not responding.....after that. I am really mystified...I can usually get PHPMyAdmin up and running in no time....but not this time. Shadow
