Re: vnc screen corruption in FC4?

I have now resolved this vnc matter - my original test I think may not have re-started X after installing the new versions of the vnc rpms.

What I did as a new test was to install both vnc and vnc-server (version 4.1.1-10.0.0.1 ) on both the server and the client machines. Then re-started X on both machines - and this is vital of course.

After these changes vnc works flawlessly. So the new rpm's provided by Tim Waigh worked just fine (i.e. removing rendering). Thanks are due to him for this work.

So it was my mistake to forget the X re-start (at least I think it must have been omitting to do this on the original test I did)

Anyway this is now resolved and worth passing on to anyone else running vnc with FC4.
