up2date problems?

On a freshly loaded fc4 box, I'm getting an error when attempting to run 
"up2date -u kernel".  The error is:

An error has occurred
exceptions.KeyError

Who can tell me what I need to do to get it working like fc3 did?  (Or 
any other way that works.)
