It is a fedora/RHEL like OS built from the same packages that RH releases. It is currently equivalent to FC3 and as such should be fairly stable. You will also be able to get updates for a longer period of time than you will with FC. Fedora, particularly new releases, are used to sort out new packages and other changes to the OS. If you don't like to work through problems and file bug reports then you should stay at lease one release behind the latest or use something like Centos. -- Scot L.
