Hi Peter,

Yes, as I mentioned in my original post, lspci shows the info about
what type of device is in the slot, but even with -vv, it won't show
if a particular nic is eth0, eth1 or eth2.

I'll keep looking although by the time I find it, I could probably
have done the job manually !  ;-)
