This is an excellent idea. :-) I was thinking of doing something like this myself; I'm glad somebody else got to it first. :-) I have an IRC bot that can report certain changes in bugs that would be of interest to users hanging out in #fedora-bugs. It can also report new bugs filed, so anybody hanging out in the channel can triage them right away if they feel like it.
