Does anyone know if HAL in Fedora Core 3 or 4 can be customized to
work with scsi drives? Specifically I have a Maxoptix T5-2600 magnetic
optical drive attached via a scsi bus as /dev/sdc. Currently lshal doesn't
show this device. I am interested in making hal aware of this drive so
the Gnome Volume Manager will automatically mount the media when I insert
it. Thanks in advance for any insights on how this might be done.
