Depends on the shell script : it could be the script complaining, or one
of the programs it runs.

What does echo $TERM return?
What happens if you try
TERM=linux shellscript
TERM=vt100 shellscript
TERM=xterm shellscript
(where shell script is the name of the ... oh, you work it out.)

Hope this helps,

James.
