Hi, I have an HP printer as well (a LaserJet 1320) and setting it up with FC4 was pretty simple. It should suffice to run printconf (in Gnome: Desktop -> System Settings -> Printing) and add your printer there. printconf is also called "system-config-printer", btw. I could be that webmin messed up the configuration. Webmin isn't part of Core or Extras, right? Here's my suggestion: Undo all printer-related configuration you've done so far, run printconf and setup your printer there (again). Then try to print a test page from printconf. If that doesn't work, read the documentation, google a bit and if you still can't get it to work, email the list again. Be sure to include some more detail such as the model of the printer. [snip] > Or do I have to do somethign with cups?? Cups does most of the work behind the scenes, but you shouldn't have to worry about it. One last word of warning: Don't edit the cups config files by hand! FC's tools will just overwrite your changes whenever they feel like it. I had some fun with that before I discovered system-config-printer... HTH, Levin
