Also the the files in /etc/yum.repos.d/ have the correct URLs, with 4 rather than 3. Actually I have $releasever in mine, as in baseurl=http://ftp.heanet.ie/pub/fedora/linux/core/$releasever/$basearch/os/ in which case there is no need to change anything. I'd also make sure no non-standard repositories are enabled, eg livna, dag, fedora-devel, etc. (It doesn't matter if they are there, as long as the entry has "enabled=0".
