I have exactly the same printer setup (with USB). HP PSC 1315 installed without a problem. Kudzu asked for the driver and I gave it psc 1300 series rather than HP PSC 1315 (which doesn't exist). The correct psc 1300 series driver was included in the .ISO download disks. Try using this before messing up your install setup or adding additional drivers. If it doesn't work it has to be a problem with your USB. Regards Bill
