Oh yeah, my nForce2 chipsets have run straight out of the box as well. (Yeah, I know that may not help you with nF3 and nF4, sorry)....But, 2 different versions of nF2 and I've used either forcedeth or via_rhine to run my onboard ethernets, snd_intel8x0 (and children) have run the sound portions, and USB works with ochi & echi. Out-of-the-box.
