no, naturally different machine, as this is happening at home...2nd machine @ home, CentOS, gives the same problem(this time with the default minicom installation)..I'm leaning towards not being able to change ttyS1 to ttyS0...
I don't believe that the subtle differences between VT102 and VT101 would make you completely unable to talk to the routers altogether.
ok, ruling that out...
