Thank you Rick,

OK, I've changed the server field on the client box to just 192.168.0.2.

Both machines can ping each other and using your "netstat -lpn | grep 631"
command, the server showed the client (192.168.0.3) listed under tcp.
0.0.0.0 under udp. (I think that makes sense)

Under Applications - System Settings - Security level, I had already added
631:tcp and 631:udp under "other ports".

My next question is in regards to the "path" field on the client box where I
have the following: /printers/deskjet-5550

I obviously don't have a /printers directory. My limited understanding is
that I need the exact name of the print queue here: deskjet-5550. But what
about the name "printers"? Should that be the device
path /dev/usb/lp0/deskjet-5550? Or just /dev/usb/lp0? Or
192.168.0.2/deskjet-5550? Or ???

Thank you very much!!
Steve
