Using a Dell 8200 Dimension 1.8 Gig with 512 megs of real memory.

It depends on how fast you're trying to burn the CD, and how much CPU, memory and network bandwidth you're using for the other applications.

Typing things into an editor, or casual browsing should be OK as long as you don't come across a site with a plugin or applet that ties up the CPU.

Test things and see what the limits are...
