Marcel;

Try disabling the firewall on your client machine(s). One of my
clients had the firewall disabled and connected to the NFS home shares
every time. So, turned off the firewall on my client and now it works.
There is a section of the FC4 readme (the default web browser home
page of a fresh FC4 install) that says the firewall will have to be
turned off to work with Samba. It doesn't mention NFS, but maybe the
two systems work similarly.
