I've got this strange problem that has only just started happening in the last few minutes with my email in kmail. I save the emails that are output from my cron jobs and they are stored as a .mbox file in the mail folder. That way they are easily reviewable if I have a problem. Within the last few minutes one of these emails, normally the most recent, which if I try to read it again, shows up in the top pane as 'No Subject' for the subject, and 'Unknown' for the sender, 'unknown' for the date. If I display that email all the header appears as part of the text of the email. At this point the previous email may be displaying in the top pane correctly, but if I then go to display it in the bottom pane, then the top pane changes the email charcteristics to 'Unknown' etc. It appears that there is some form of progressive deterioration occuring. But, how can I stop it, and how can I repair the damage that has been caused without losing the information in the affected emails please? Hopefully thanks Sharon. -- 12:52:41 up 12 days, 20:44, 2 users, load average: 2.43, 1.77, 1.60 A taste of linux http://www.sharons.org.uk/taste/index.html efever http://www.efever.blogspot.com/ Fedora Core 4, KDE 3.4.1-1.2, OpenOffice 1.9.112 Registered Linux user 334501 Now accepting personal mail for gmail invites
