Please do not edit the yum.conf to add repositories. [base] and
[updates-released] are defined inside /etc/yum.repos.d/ and if you want
to change their behaviour (fix, different mirror server), then please
change those .repo files.

You may adopt repository settings you know from/for FC3 into repo files
below /etc/yum.repos.d/. Some repositories like livna.org and
freshrpms.net have specific package which ship a prepared repo file
together with the GPG key their packages are signed with.
