In fact the value that come out of that tool are way too high. I tried that value you generated it was out of the frequency range. Here's what the Monitor Specs are: Horizontal: 30kHz to 81Khz Vertical: 56Hz to 85Hz (XGA) 60Hz to 76Hz(SXGA) Max Pixel Clock: 135Mhz I futzed with gtf a little more and came up with mode line: ModeLine "1280x1024" 137.62 1280 1368 1504 1728 1024 1025 1028 1069 +HSync +Vsync It work a tad better, but there's still a lot of shake and wobble going on. Hooked up to my PowerBook or Windows, the display is crystal clear. I should mention that this is an LCD display too. Ryan-
