Hi all,
at the end I think I understood the problem. Yesterday I had something
like 10 freezes in the whole day. Yesterday night I decided to start
monitoring the temperatures inside my PC (Ksysguard is my friend:-)) and
I discovered - after almost 5 years in which this PC have had no
problems - that there is an overheating problem (well, I should say that
I was probably too conservative setting 70°C as maximum CPU operational
temperature into the BIOS). I think there is something in FC4 that
exposes this, as I have always used this PC without any problem (and
Linux has been my favourite OS since RH7.3!). Yesterday it was a very
hot day here, but for sure no more than some days during las years'
summers! I tried to open the case, lowering the temperature of 3-4°C,
and I have had no freezes since then. We will see...

Bye
	Alberto
