Yesterday night I decided to start monitoring the temperatures inside my PC (Ksysguard is my friend:-)) and I discovered - after almost 5 years in which this PC have had no problems - that there is an overheating problem (well, I should say that I was probably too conservative setting 70°C as maximum CPU operational temperature into the BIOS). I think there is something in FC4 that exposes this, as I have always used this PC without any problem (and Linux has been my favourite OS since RH7.3!). Yesterday it was a very hot day here, but for sure no more than some days during las years' summers! I tried to open the case, lowering the temperature of 3-4°C, and I have had no freezes since then.
