Like I said, I tried "custom selection" but no result. But I have maybe found my problem : In the COMPS.XML file of the first CD of FC4, I can see openldap, ypbind and sendmail in some groups like "compat-arch-support" or "base", which are set to "default" and non "uservisible" ... I'm trying to change this file to suppress my boring packages from "automatic" installation. I hope it'll work :) Cordialement, Olivier LACHERE PIT - Support Outils 01-30-44-54-91 olachere@xxxxxxx -----Message d'origine----- De : Furton Gyula [mailto:furtongy@xxxxxxxxxxx] Envoyé : mercredi 22 juin 2005 17:41 À : For users of Fedora Core releases Objet : Re: Packages problem with FC4 olachere@xxxxxxx írta: > Hi, > > > I'm trying to install Fedora Core 4 with a few components (KDE, gcc, make > and others usuals dev apps), but I always get more than I want. > I've tried typical installations selections like "Desktop" and custom > selection, but I always get "sendmail", "openldap", "cups", "bind" installed > ... > > No way to skip them ...
