I have the same problem, this time with a Desktop. I left it running Memtest86 for about one day without errors and I changed the CMOS battery, just in case. Oftentimes when it freezes, I have to manually unplug and replug the ethernet cable (after rebooting the system) to make the network functionality work, otherwise, the network interface is deaf. I am running FC3, the motherboard is a PC-Chips, with a Celeron 1.3GHz, 512MB ram, and it is usually running Samba, Dovecot and Postfix. (it is my home mail server).
