Luis, welcome, You had a problem which can be originated by a very wide set of possible issues, I installed FC4 on my home PC and I think eclipse worked fine, I have FC3 here at the office. Maybe this could help: - try running eclipse from the command line. What is the output, by the freezing moment? - check the logs directory (/var/log/) files. Maybe you can find the problem. - check if you have the right version of j2re installed and configured (check www.fedorafaq.org , older but valid). I do not remember if j2re was neccesary for eclipse, but is one of the packages I started installing. - Has eclipse some configuration files? try finding them and reading them, maybe some directory or files are mistaken.
