<idiot>
He meant you're an idiot because of the way you expressed yourself, not because the techno babble you uttered so rudely didn't make sense. If you need a clue, you won't find it in /etc/stefan.conf. You should try and learn some manners. Those are not found in the logs. Hurry up, you might catch them before they reach /dev/null.
I'll ignore any further reply of yours to all this because it makes little sense reading your emails when you have little to offer to the members of this list.
Have a good day.

excuse the former idiot, and his rants...

Ehrm he is the IT Manager, _HE_ should know that this is stupid what he
is doing. And if he doesn't know there has to be someone who is telling
him that, clear and offensive.

you shouldn't need to build from scratch/source unless you're using something
in the environment that you haven't told us. or unless you're simply running
the bare minimum on your system...

But, even for that am i telling something wrong that building a RPM is way better for the System or the Admin?

The Bare Minimum? Easy, just comment out all the Modules you don't need.
That's why this option are build as a Module.

And please stop calling me an idiot. What i've said was the trouth.
An Idiot is someone who doesn't know better and is complaining about it.
