Hi,
I 've just upgraded from FC3 to FC4 on my laptop IBM Thinkpad R50, and as
with FC3, I have no sound with FC4.
system-config-soundcard gives me :
Intel
Corporation 82801DB/DBL/DBM (ICH4/ICH4-L/ICH4-M) AC'97 Audio Controler
Module : snd-intel8x0
When I test the sound with system-config-soundcard, I have the following
messages :
[fm@celtes5 ~]$ system-config-soundcard
amixer: Unable to find simple control 'PCM-2',0
amixer: Unable to find simple control 'DRC Range',0
Playing WAVE '/usr/share/system-config-soundcard/sound-sample.wav' : Signed
16 bit Little Endian, Rate 44100 Hz, Stereo
I've read the mailing list and have tested different things. Nothing, no
sound at all.
Any thoughts/comments appreciated.
