Yes, I know about .evolution/, but that doesn't seem to be enough. I've been playing around with things trying to figure this out. Okay, what I most specifically want to know is where does Evolution store account information. You would think it would be in .evolution too, but I can delete that folder and its contents and Evolution will remember my accounts! The problem is, when moving the old folder, it doesn't remember my accounts. Here is my test. As my normal user: 1. Remove any .evolution folder if it exists (it's backed up) 2. Start Evolution and add a (or another) account 3. Close Evolution 4. Remove newly created .evolution folder 5. Open Evolution and go to Edit->Preferences 6. Notice that all accounts are still there 7. Wonder where it gets this stuff... I've tried doing an strace of Evolution to try to see what files it accesses when starting and when adding an account. There was a lot of output there and a quick filter didn't turn up anything outside of .evolution (but in ~). Any ideas? I know I've also deleted some of the Gnome . files (like .gconf* and .gnome*) and lost my accounts. So it seems like it must be somewhere there, but it's hidden well it seems. Jonathan
