Ever considered a BIOS update?

ftp://ftp.asuscom.de/pub/ASUSCOM/BIOS/Slot_I/INTEL_Chipset/i440BX/P2B-LS/

The BIOS for your motherboard model too updates the SCSI component
inside it.
