What i would like is to see icons representing these devices so i needed to add pamconsole: /dev/hdd1 /mnt/echange vfat pamconsole,umask=000 0 0 /dev/hda1 /mnt/winxp ntfs pamconsole,umask=000,ro 0 0 and now it's fine.
