Hi, I have some sha1sum weirdness. It looks like the x86_64 DVD image is corrupted on multiple fpt sites. I downloaded FC4-x86_64-DVD.iso (2932850688 bytes) and got a wrong sha1sum. Ok, no big deal, something screwed up during download, retry and be done with it. So I thought... I downloaded the whole DVD about five(1) times now, from different ftp servers. ftp.quicknet.nl ftp.surfnet.nl ftp.nluug.nl ftp.belnet.be Every time I get the wrong sha1sum. I consisently get this checksum: 6688cf57c31c754cfc7631f1d9509bb269760050 FC4-x86_64-DVD.iso instead of what the SHA1SUM file says: 2f166c7cff4e7334744d48e642b3287693d982ed FC4-x86_64-DVD.iso Then, I downloaded the image again, now using bittorrent. This resulted in a correct image. 2f166c7cff4e7334744d48e642b3287693d982ed FC4-x86_64-DVD.iso Note: Other .iso files (i386-DVD, rescue cd's) I downloaded with ftp where all OK. -I downloaded on a FC3 system (that machine is i386, not x86_64). -I used wsftp to download. Regards, Harm
