Assuming the partition is still there (maybe it got deleted during the installation! just a wild guess) do this to mount: su - <password> mount /dev/hd<whatever><number> /mnt After this, partition /dev/hd<whatever><number will be mounted on /mnt directory. BTW, anyone know what happens if you delete and format the partition that the .isos reside in and you try to install from hard disk? Is it even possible to delete the partition? -Gezim On Thu, 2005-06-16 at 15:54 +0800, yufan wrote: > I installed the FC4 by using the "linux askmethod" and installing from > the harddisk.the installation was successful.however,i cannot find the > partition which contains the fedora core 4 iso files in the new > system. could anyone help me solve this problem? thanks in advance. > -- > fedora-list mailing list > fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe: http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
